Core CAMHS Team

We offer assessment and treatment of a variety of mental health problems in children and young people; including anxiety, depression and psychosis and we also see children and young people who may have a neurodevelopmental disorder such as ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) or ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) who are also struggling with some mental health difficulties.

 

Learning Disabilities (LD)

We are here to support young people with moderate and severe learning disabilities who also have challenging behaviours and/or mental health problems.

 
 

Eating Disorders (ED)

We offer assessment and treatment to young people and their families who are experiencing eating distress.

 

Urgent Care Team (UCT)

We are a team of practitioners who will respond within 4 hours to serious mental health presentation in young people under the age of 18.

 
 

Intensive Home Treatment Team (IHTT) 

We are a small team of professionals from different backgrounds; including nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, psychologists and support workers. We also have a sub-team for Youth Offending (YOT). We work with young people who may be at risk of admission to, or ready to be discharged from, specialist hospitals.
